escaping
from a big "domestic" with his wife, chris winds up somewhere in the highlands
where he finds himself confronted with some perplexing architecture and the
even more puzzling appearance of spencer: is he just a young local with a love of water and a sense for the
absurd or, as he claims, an alien studying man-made and natural features in the area? chris is further taken aback when spencer suggests that where he comes from they've been developing ways of connecting with each other more intense than anything he knows, and far more enjoyable too. and certainly more relevant than sex. as chris's unease grows, so does his curiosity... in our second short film, gary grant - best known to the nation's tv-viewers from his two-year stint as dc riley on the bill - plays spencer, and james watson, who has appeared in a multitude of shorts, feature films and tv shows, among them dune opposite william hurt and RTE's long running fair city as dr mcewan, takes the role of chris. |
